Ticketing and Box Office

Wealthy Theatre Ticket Booth

CMC is happy to provide one-stop ticketing for both Wealthy Theatre and Koning Micro-Cinema events.

Centralized ticketing makes it easier for the patrons who attend events. it also eliminates a time-consuming tasks for CMC members and NPOs who plan and produce events.

By managing ticketing ourselves, we eliminate the hassle and extra costs incurred at other venues -- no Ticketmaster "convenience fees" or outsourced sales agents. And with one of the most talented graphic designers in Grand Rapids drawing custom tickets for each event, everyone walks away with a souvenir keepsake.

How do I get tickets "at the door" on the day of the event?

If there are no advance sales for a particular event, tickets will be sold "day of" event only.  This assumes the event has an admission charge (some events are free, refer to the event description for details.)

Even if there are advance sales, when tickets remain available, "day of" event sales are available through the Box Office.

Box office doors typically open 60 minutes prior to the event start time.  You can check the event summary, on the calendar, for an exact time when doors open.

Wealthy Theatre is located at 1130 Wealthy SE, Grand Rapids

How do I know if an event has advance ticket sales?

Many events have advance tickets, designed and sold through Wealthy Theatre.  Check the event summary on the CMC website to see if the event has advance tickets available.  Events that charge admission always have tickets for sale at the door, 30-60 minutes before the event starts (check the event summary calendar for "doors open" time.)

If an event has advance ticket sales, how do I get mine?

The event descripton ("Scheduled Events" section) should say whether an event features advance ticket sales: if not, or if there are tickets remaining, the box office opens at least one half hour before events.

For events that feature advance ticket sales, regular box office hours are Wednesday-Friday from 4-8 PM.

The Box Office also opens one hour before any event, and tickets for any event can purchased at that time.  Additionally, theatre staff normally operate in the building between 12-7 PM on weekdays, or by appointment, and all staff can sell tickets, when possible.

Tickets are available by phone at (616) 459-4788 x131.  If nobody answers, please leavea  message and we'll get back to you.  In addition, staff can answer calls for tickets when staff are present, during normal hours of theatre operation, 12-7 PM weekdays.

The Wealthy Theatre box office is located at the east Main Entrance door, at 1130 Wealthy SE.  Click here for map and directions.

There is a doorbell on the Main Entrance / Box Office door at Wealthy Theatre.  If staff are operating in the building, someone will answer the bell within a minute.

Wealthy Theatre tickets have the lowest surcharge fees you'll find anywhere.  Period.  Because we only pass on the merchant fees charged by credit card companies: no "convenience fees," or building/facility charges, handling fees, etc.  We even mail them to you at no charge.

Just take a look at what the other guys are charging, using a purchase of $60 worth of tickets, as an example:

TICKETMASTER (Most GR Venues)
$60.00 for 3 tickets ($20/ea.)
$06.00 facility charge
$20.75 "convenience fee"
$86.75 total price

TICKETS PLUS (Frauenthal Theatre, Muskegon)

Compare that to what you'd pay at Wealthy Theatre:
